THE TWO NEW SURSYSTEM 3R THAT I LEFT IN CALI

I went to Cali, the city where I was born to celebrate the holidays with my family after 4 years and 6 months of living in NYC. There I met again many of my friends and one of them, Hermann was in Cali too, he is living in Barcelona and the first time that we met was there, then we became friends; was so nice met Hermann in Cali because when I went to Barcelona in 2017 I didn’t give him the gift that I made for him, but, he told me before I was in Cali that he would be there the same dates than me, then I finished his gift and I gave it to him. Obviously, the gift was a Sursystem 3R, it was the number 5 that I did just with stickers. Also, I left in Cali the Sursystem 3R number 3, but I didn’t reach the person out for who I made that Sursystem. I hope someday I can meet that person in Cali and give her the Sursystem 3R that I made for her.

The last week of December my friend invited me to go to her home to pass the new year with her family and friends. It was in Cumming, Georgia, on a typical north America suburb next to the Lanier Lake. I was there for one week and we did a lot of things through these days.

Before I left NY to go there, I started to think was what the best gift for my friends if they have everything that a typical north America family could to buy? Of course I though in make a Sursystem 3R for them like a way to show my love and my care for them, but also, like a way to said to them that outside to there are another different ways to live and the most important thing: different ways to see our world. 

This is the Sursystem 3R Magazine number seven, the last magazine that I made in 2017.

FINALLY, THE SURSYSTEM 3R NUMBER SIX!

On my last post, I said that I did my first six Sursystem 3R, but I only showed 5 of them. The number 6 was difficult to make because that one is for the person who helped me to make the art on the cover and the backcover in two of the first five, and she is an artist plenty of talent and good ideas and it means that I can't make her SSyS_3R in a simple way. The problem is that I am not an artist and I spent a lot of time thinking about how to make that magazine and that the results were good and she would like it. However, here is the SSyS_3R number 6, finally, I hope it will like to her and I wish don't spent a lot of time trying to make the next magazines.

 

The nice thing when you aren't an artist and you start to do this kind of work is that your imagination becomes fastest and new ideas coming to you, it happened with this copy. I added new content from another art magazine into the Sursystem in order to make it more beauty and unique.

The last thing that I want highlight is that all the material that I used to made it, are from the workplace of my friend, from the plastic bag where the Sursystem is in, to the material to make the collage that is on the cover and back cover, until the pages that I put here in this post and that are inside it.
