SURSYSTEM 3R EDICIÓN INSTITUTO BOGOTANO DE CORTE VERSIÓN COMPACTA

En el último taller de autoproducción del magazín Sursystem 3R en el Instituto Bogotano de Corte, los colegas armaron esta versión compacta del Sursystem 3R edición IBDC con los ensayos gráficos elaborados por los asistentes al taller más los instructivos del contenido. Quedo muy buena esta nueva edición compacta. Es la primera vez que se reproduce una Sursystem 3R hecha en un taller en un formato diferente, además, es la primera vez que una nueva edición del Sursystem 3R magazín es publicado como copia de la misma publicación. Muchas gracias al IBDC por tomarse el trabajo de hacer esta versión compacta del SSyS_3R y por distribuirla en Bogotá. Haré lo mismo en New York City cuando tenga la oportunidad! 

At the last DIY workshop for Sursystem 3R magazine at Instituto Bogotano de Corte (IBDC), the team put together this compact version of the IBDC edition of Sursystem 3R, incorporating the graphic essays created by the workshop participants along with the content instructions. This new edition turned out very well. It’s the first time a workshop-produced Sursystem 3R has been reproduced in a different format, and it’s also the first time a Sursystem magazine has been published as an extension of the same publication. Many thanks to IBDC for taking the time to create this compact version of SSyS_3R and for distributing it in Bogota. I’ll do the same in New York City when I have the chance!

SURSYSTEM 3R EDICIÓN INSTITUTO BOGOTANO DE CORTE

Este es el Sursystem 3R que elaboré en el taller de autoproducción Reusa, Recicla y Repiensa el pasado 29 de diciembre en el @institutobogotanodecorte Ahí aparecen (en blanco y negro), Los ensayos gráficos que lxs asistentes hicieron para esta edición, más los 14 instructivos que hacen parte del contenido. Para la  decoración de esta copia, tanto en la portada/contraportada utilicé 14 sellos diferentes.

En cada taller que realizo, los participantes aprenden a armar un libro siguiendo las instrucciones que les dicto mientras armo mi propio libro con todo el contenido que se realiza durante el taller.  

Lo que más me gusta de realizar este trabajo de autoproducción de un impreso independiente de bajo presupuesto con materiales reusados, es que cada copia es única, aunque todas tengan el mismo contenido. De nuevo gracias al @institutobogotanodecorte por el espacio y la camaraderia y a todxs los que participaron en el taller.

This is the Sursystem 3R I created in the Reuse, Recycle, and Rethink self-production (DIY) workshop on December 29th at the @institutobogotanodecorte. It features (in black and white) the graphic essays that the participants created for this edition, along with the 14 instruction manuals included in the content. I used 14 different stamps to decorate this copy, both on the front and back covers.

In each workshop I conduct, participants learn to assemble a book following the instructions I give them, while I assemble my own book with all the content generated during the workshop.

What I love most about self-producing (DIY) this low-budget, independent print publication with recycled materials is that each copy is unique, even though they all contain the same content. Thanks again to the @institutobogotanodecorte for the space and camaraderie, and to everyone who participated in the workshop.
